From the South and West

From South Molton follow A399 to Blackmoor Gate or From Barnstaple follow the A39 to Blackmoor Gate.  At Blackmoor Gate, follow A39 towards Lynton & Lynmouth. Two miles after Parracombe and one mile before Barbrook at Caffyns Cross turn right over cattle grid..

From the East.

From Minehead follow the A39 to Lynmouth.  Cross over the river and follow the road up Lynmouth-Hill.  Do not turn back into Lynton, but follow the road to Barbrook.  When facing the petrol station at Barbrook turn right towards Barnstaple.  After one mile turn left at Caffyns Cross turn left over cattle grid.
